Day 3 - Just walking, very tired

I will let the photos tell this day:

Up at 5am for a breakfast of fried chicken and bread

The "margarine bread" was particularly good. Two pancakes with margarine and cream stuffed between them.

Greg had a pray at the shrine...

...that we wouldn't be killed by wild boars

And whilst there were actually trail markings for the first time..

...we still managed to get a bit lost finding our way up the mountain

We managed to make it to the top though...

The trail then continued along the ridge-line of the mountain range

We stopped for lunch under this roof...

Lunch was ramen and sausage

Then the trail continued back into the mountains

There were nice views

We found this "bear bell" on the ground. Hopefully the hiker was not eaten by a bear!

After 5 hours of going up and down, Greg got pretty sick of the mountain and decided to give it the f&^% you!

So when we did get to a flat surface it felt like absolute luxury!

We went into town to fetch Greg some sandals and talcum powder for his chaffed legs

And stock up on supplies

Then we got back on the road

And eventually found a shrine to sleep at

We set up out of the way around the back not to disturb anyone.

We both feel absolutely exhausted from the 3 days walking. From memory I felt like this last time three days in. 

We need an early start tomorrow so it's off to bed.
